It remains ever important for me to share this art form and the meditative, healing and just plain fun aspects of creating it. I've scheduled two new mosaic workshops this Spring to be held at Mosaics by Kerry Art Studio in Belgium. I say it all the time because its true, there's something uniquely special about spending time together with fellow creatives... Sunday, March 17: 10 am-3:30 pm

We will use naturally shaped cuts of glass to create a Spring floral landscape. You will be guided in design, proper use of mosaic tools, glass cutting techniques and mistake-free grouting. Demonstrations and lots of individual attention assure a successful experience!

Invite a friend or forge new friendships with like-minded others in a fun, supportive atmosphere. Gourmet lunch on Saturday and Wine Social on Sunday afternoon.

Saturday, April 13: 9:30 am-4 pm AND

Sunday, April 14: 10 am-2 pm

Illuminate! Add a whole new dimension to your mosaic repertoire as you create your own 3-dimensional luminary using the glass-on-glass technique. You will also create a beautiful mosaic pendant that will quickly become your favorite go-to necklace.

We will use the glass on glass technique to create these luminaries and explore types of glass best suited for allowing light to pass through in varying intensities. You will be guided in design, proper use of mosaic tools, glass cutting techniques and mistake-free grouting. Demonstrations and lots of individual attention assures a successful experience!

Your two options:

1. Attend Saturday and Sunday to create a pendant and luminary with a simple design. All materials and tools provided for a 4” luminary and pendant.

$145 + $25 supply fee.

2. Or, add Friday night to create the pendant and the stunning flowerburst design. All materials and tools provided for a 4” luminary and pendant.

$160 + $25 supply fee. (Friday, April 12: 5:30-8:30 pm)

Class Cancellation Policy

For cancellations 20 days or more prior to the class date, a class credit will be given for the amount of the class minus $25. The credit is valid for one year.

For cancellations less than 20 days prior, no credits or refunds will be given. Students are encouraged to find a friend to take their seat. (I want to help participants and will attempt to fill the seat if I have a wait list and if there is time.
